Our journey commenced in 2015, and it has been a remarkable experience thus far. We began with a manual screening tool, and gradually progressed towards establishing 3R labs in seven distinguished educational institutions. We had the privilege of being incubated by the Institute of Dialogue with Cultures and Religions (IDCR), Loyola College, during our initial stages, which proved to be a fortunate opportunity. Furthermore, we are grateful to have been awarded our first fellowship grant from the Centre for Social Innovation and Management (CSIM).
After our humble beginnings, we entered a new phase of collaboration as we got incubated at NSRCEL, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM -B). With their support, we were able to take our remedial content to new heights by presenting it in a game-based way.
This was the era of digitization for us. We partnered up with NIEPID and NIEPMD, (autonomous organizations functioning under the aegis of the Indian Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment) to scientifically validate our online, at-home based screening tool and intervention program.
In a brief span of three years, our progress has been remarkable!! We have conducted over 10,000 Intervention sessions, and are still counting. We now have over 100 dedicated special educators to support our students. We have also partnered with Microsoft Corp., which recognized the gravitas behind our initiatives and is now backing our projects in Government schools.
We want to give access to students across the world by providing content in regional languages, in easily-consumable formats and mobile phone platforms. Over time, we hope to build a robust Content Management System and establish a marketplace for special educators. Our long-term goal is to nurture Dyslexic thinking while employing dyslexic thinkers to revolutionize the SLD ecosystem.
