Oh, it's definitely a reality! We've got a free screening app called the DLearners Parent app, available on both Android and iOS. Just download the app and take the first step in our identification process. Our team will then reach out to schedule the second step which is a 90-minute Zoom session with our assessors. Easy peasy!
You bet! We believe in trying before buying. That's why we offer a free trial of our game-based sessions for both you and your child. You'll get to chat with our enabler, check out our platform, have your child play some fun games, test out our VAKT app and more. Think of it as a sneak peek of the DLearners experience.
DLearners is a party for everyone! Our platform is open to not just parents, but also schools, special educators, and special education institutions. We offer sensitization, identification, report generation, and game-based multi-sensorial remedial intervention for all. Plus, access to all our other features. Think of it as a VIP pass to the world of special education. And for schools, special educators and special education institutions, we have licensing model. The more, the merrier!
It's an informal screening tool scientifically validated by NIEPMED (National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities) but it's not intended to replace any medical advice given by a qualified registered medical doctor or diagnose. The goal is to determine the learner's functional academic level so we can decide on the best intervention. Think of it as a friendly check-in, not a formal evaluation. And it's just indicating your child is at risk of developing a learning difficulty.
Our screening tool is designed for children between the ages of 6 to 11, 1st to 6th grade. As for offline sessions, we're all digital all the time. The DLearners platform is an online learning platform, no need to leave the house, or even change out of your pyjamas! you can access it from anywhere, anytime.
DLearners is specifically designed for children with specific learning disabilities (SLD). While it may not support kids with other difficulties, we can proceed with the identification process if there is comorbidity along with SLD. However, the intervention will be decided based on the findings from the screening report. So if your child learns differently, we've got you covered!
